We are a small and passionate team of individuals who believe in the power of truth and emotion in communication. Our team, unlike most other production houses, consists of filmmakers with a strong background in writing, advertising and journalism, which helps us bring a well-rounded approach to our work in both fiction and non-fiction formats.

In today’s cluttered digital space where where everyone is obsessed with technology, we still believe that at the core of great content will always be human thought. Soul will always trump AI, and while processors and pixels are important, what makes a piece of content great, is not the electricity flowing in the circuit boards of our devices, but the electricity of our minds

Dibakar Das Roy

Founder

Dibakar Das Roy is an alumnus of The Doon School Dehradun, Hindu College New Delhi, Indian Institute of Mass Communications and The VCU Brandcenter. He spent the early part of his career working in the advertising industries in India and the USA, where he gained in-depth experience on both Eastern and Western approaches to Advertising and Film Production. He has also recently completed shooting his first feature film as a Writer and Director, under his new banner Reeligion Films LLP.

A tech junkie if there ever was one, Ritwik looks at Creative Direction and Post Production, planning workflows with an aim to creating a streamlined process. SITCOM WEB-SERIES DEVELOPED FOR A FINANCE BRAND

In collaboration with Hindustan Times, Aditya Birla Finance, and Aviva, we have successfully written and produced ‘Friday Finance,’ a unique five-part sitcom currently in its third season. The primary objective of this series was to educate young professionals about the fundamentals of investing while ensuring extended brand engagement through an entertaining storyline. Although the media budget and placement may not have generated as many impressions as a typical 30-second TV commercial, the duration of brand interaction was significantly longer, fostering deeper engagement and facilitating more meaningful conversations with the intended audience.

Comedy sketches with standups for a lollipop Brand

We teamed up with Glitch Media to create a series of hilarious videos for Perfetti Chupa Chup Lollipops voiced by renowned standup comedians Kenny Sebastien and Abish Mathew and even one with the legendary Baba Sehgal. Keeping in tune with the brand’s eccentric vibe right from the time famous artist Salvadore Dali designed its logo, the lollipop was turned into a talking character to create a series of quirky snack-able videos for social media to set the tone of Chupa-Chup’s communication in India.

Campaign to celebrate India’s oldest computer brand

A series of films commemorating the 40 years of existence of HCL computers, India’s first manufacturer of personal computers. The stories show the evolving role of computers in our lives, ranging from their inception in the 70s when they first came in to replace typewriters in the office spaces, through the 90s and their significant impact on the way trade and finance was conducted, right down to our hyper-connected world of today, where they have been woven into the fabric of Indian culture.

A food and travel TV Series in association with a hotel brand

Within our production consultancy services tailored for foreign crews shooting in India, we undertook the meticulous production planning for 26 captivating episodes spanning two seasons of the renowned Italian celebrity chef David Rocco’s popular show, ‘David Rocco’s Dolce India’ (aired on Fox Life, Nat Geo People, and Food Network). Collaborating closely with ITC Hotels, we seamlessly integrated their talented chefs and exquisite properties into diverse locations, imbuing each episode with local themes and compelling storylines. This collaboration resulted in a remarkable fusion of culinary exploration, cultural immersion, and captivating storytelling, delighting viewers across various international networks.

A Documentary on a State’s Inspiring Transformation

When Odisha CM Shri Naveen Patnaik was to visit Rome for the UN World Food Programme’s Global Summit, we created the film that spoke of Odisha’s Food Policy and the remarkable transformation it made from being severely hit by natural disasters to a food-surplus state. The documentary juxtaposed archival footage from the 1999 Super Cyclone which devastated the state with the present-day that shows a highly revolutionized agricultural system, along with info-graphics that present the case through hard data.

An instructional series for an Online Gaming Site

To teach players how to play Poker in an engaging way, we produced a series of videos for A23 Poker featuring a character called ‘Poker Bawse’ who takes you through the nuances of the game in a fun series of videos which combines live action and animations of gameplay simulations.
